Huawei launches LUTERRA S2 energy system to accelerate installation speeds
Huawei unveiled its LUTERRA S2 Full-SiC all-in-one energy system during its seventh Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China.

Huawei hosted over 1,000 installers and partners from 54 countries at its seventh Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China, in late October 2026. The event served as a platform to discuss sector trends, business models, and the integration of smart home energy solutions.
A central focus of the summit was the debut of the LUTERRA S2, an all-in-one system utilizing Full-SiC (silicon carbide) technology. The product is designed to simplify logistics through a single-SKU approach and streamline field operations. Huawei claims the unit can be installed in under ten minutes and provides a 10 percent increase in usable capacity compared to previous configurations.
To demonstrate the efficiency of the new hardware, Huawei conducted a global installation competition where a Spanish team completed a setup in two minutes and 32 seconds. The initiative reflects Huawei's push to support its network of installers—who have serviced over 4.3 million homeowners—by reducing technical complexities and providing more robust service frameworks.
The LUTERRA S2 system is scheduled for release in European markets throughout November, with an Asia-Pacific launch planned for December.
