Huawei leads global wearable market as Q2 shipments fall 2%
Huawei secured the largest share of the global wearable device market in the second quarter of 2026. Overall shipments for the category declined 2% year-on-year.

Huawei topped the global wearable device market in the second quarter of 2026, capturing 18% of shipments, an increase from 17% a year prior, according to Omdia data. Total shipments in the wearable category decreased by 2% year-on-year.
Shipments of smartwatches grew by 6%, while basic band shipments declined 9% and basic watch shipments fell 3%. Huawei's expanding product line, including a global launch of a flagship children's smartwatch, supported its market position.
Apple remained the leader in the smartwatch segment, holding a 46% share.
