Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max Update Adds Four-Card Support and 3D Photos
Huawei's Mate 90 Pro Max flagship phone receives its first software update, introducing features like 'four cards, three standby' and the ability to create 3D dynamic photos from existing images.
Huawei has rolled out the first major software update for its flagship Mate 90 Pro Max smartphone. The update, approximately 745MB in size, brings several new functionalities, with the most notable being the 'four cards, three standby' feature.
This new system allows users to manage up to four phone numbers—two physical SIM cards and two eSIM profiles—and keep three of them active simultaneously. This enables seamless communication and data usage across multiple lines without constant number switching.
The update also introduces enhancements to photo and video capabilities. '3D dynamic photos' allow for the conversion of static or moving images into a three-dimensional experience with added motion effects. Additionally, AI-powered tools have been integrated into photo editing, including single-sentence photo retouching and text-to-image generation.
Other additions include improved message recognition for live display, enhancements to the 'Close Friends' feature for location sharing and real-time chat, and the expansion of the 'Text Call' function to third-party social applications. The Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max was initially launched earlier this year featuring the company's latest chipset.
