Huawei Mate 90 Series Upgrades to HarmonyOS AI Features
Huawei has updated its Mate 90 smartphone series with new AI functionalities integrated into the HarmonyOS operating system. The update enhances note-taking, image processing, and cross-device data transfer capabilities.

Huawei has rolled out significant AI enhancements for its Mate 90 smartphone series, integrating new features through the HarmonyOS operating system. The update focuses on improvements in smart assistance, image processing, and user-device interaction.
The intelligent assistant, Xiaoyi, now includes "Xiaoyi Note," a tool that allows users to save webpage content with a simple swipe while browsing. The system can then automatically extract and summarize key information from the saved content, reducing the need for manual copying.
Image processing sees an upgrade with the "Xiaoyi Gallery Assistant" feature, which can create videos from simple text descriptions. This function also enables dynamic image transformations and intelligent arrangement of materials to produce cinematic-style videos.
The update also introduces new methods for device-to-device interaction. Users can now transfer images between devices using gestures and utilize a privacy-focused "view and disappear" mode, where shared content is viewable only once before being deleted.
