Huawei Nova 15 Series Prices Increase in China
Huawei has raised the prices of its Nova 15 smartphone series in China. The increases, amounting to 300 yuan across all models and storage versions, bring the starting price to 2999 yuan.

Chinese technology firm Huawei has recently implemented a price adjustment for its Nova 15 smartphone series. The change affects all models and storage configurations within the lineup, with the starting price now set at 2999 yuan. Each variant sees an increase of 300 yuan.
Specifically, the Nova 15 Standard edition with 256GB has been adjusted from 2699 yuan to 2999 yuan. The Pro and Ultra models also received price hikes; for instance, the Nova 15 Pro 512GB version now retails for 4199 yuan, up from 3899 yuan.
The price increase also extends to the previous generation Nova 14 Vitality Edition, which saw its starting price rise by 200 yuan to 2399 yuan. These adjustments occur amidst broader industry challenges, including significant increases in component costs, particularly for memory.
Industry analysis from IDC indicates that memory costs have risen by nearly 300% year-over-year, substantially driving up smartphone production expenses. This trend has contributed to a global decline in smartphone shipments, although Huawei has managed to grow its market share in China by leveraging strong brand loyalty and stable pricing.
