Huawei nova16 Pro and FIT 5 Smartwatch Launched as Hirono Collaboration Models
Huawei has released collaboration models of its nova16 Pro smartphone and FIT 5 smartwatch, designed in partnership with Pop Mart's Hirono character. The devices went on sale in early October.
Chinese technology firm Huawei has commenced sales for collaboration versions of its nova16 Pro smartphone and FIT 5 smartwatch. These special editions are a product of a partnership with the popular Hirono character from art brand Pop Mart. The Huawei nova16 Pro collaboration model, featuring 12+256GB storage and Kunlun glass, is priced at 3899 yuan. The Huawei FIT 5 smartwatch collaboration model is set at 1199 yuan.
The Huawei nova16 Pro smartphone is equipped with a 6.84-inch OLED display featuring 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate technology and a peak brightness of 6000 nits. It operates on the Kirin 9010S chip and HarmonyOS 6.1. The rear camera system comprises a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide macro camera. The front camera is a 50-megapixel portrait lens. The device houses a 7000mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging.
The Huawei FIT 5 smartwatch features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a brightness of 2500 nits. It offers monitoring for heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep, alongside 5ATM water resistance. The watch provides up to seven days of typical usage on a single charge. The launch of these collaboration models coincides with China's government subsidy program for consumer electronics, offering discounts on eligible devices.
Hirono is an emotional IP character launched by Pop Mart in 2021, created by artist Lang. The character has achieved significant financial success, reporting 1.01 billion yuan in revenue for the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 38.5 percent.
