Huawei Promotes Network Integration for Energy Efficiency
Huawei presented new solutions to enhance data center energy efficiency at a green energy conference in Shenzhen. The goal is to reduce power consumption and increase computing capacity.

Huawei has introduced new approaches to improving energy efficiency in data centers. The company suggests that by integrating networks and implementing intelligent solutions, computing power can be optimized in relation to energy consumption.
The presentation took place at the Shenzhen Green Energy and Digital Energy Development Conference. Zhou Jianjun, Vice President of Huawei Digital Power and President of Global Marketing, Sales, and Services, highlighted the growing need for more efficient data centers amid increasing global energy demands.
The solutions specifically focus on the integration of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) network technologies with computing units. The objective is to maximize the number of "tokens" produced per watt, a metric representing the ratio of computing capacity to energy consumed. This aims for more efficient resource utilization and a reduced carbon footprint.
During the conference, Huawei also shared perspectives on developing industry standards and fostering collaboration with other entities to advance sustainable digital energy solutions. The company seeks to meet the escalating demand for data and computing power while concurrently working to mitigate the environmental impact of energy usage.
