Huawei Pura X View Receives HarmonyOS 7 Update With Auto Dark Mode

Huawei has rolled out a new HarmonyOS 7.0.0.109 SP10 update for its Pura X View smartphones. The update introduces a highly requested feature: automatic switching to dark mode based on the time of day.

The new dark mode functionality is designed to follow sunrise and sunset times, automatically enabling the dark theme in the evening and disabling it in the morning. Previously, this feature required manual configuration within the Huawei Home App's "Scenarios" section, posing a usability challenge for many users. The integration into system settings aims to simplify its use.

Alongside the dark mode enhancement, the update also includes other improvements such as multi-user communication sharing and track navigation with the screen off. The update package size is approximately 4.83 GB.

It is important to note that the automatic dark mode switching feature is not yet fully deployed to all Huawei devices. The company intends to make this functionality available on a wider range of models in subsequent updates.
