Huawei ramps up Stelia G9 deliveries ahead of V8 model launch
Huawei confirms production increase for the Stelia G9 in November and plans immediate delivery options for the upcoming V8 multi-purpose vehicle.
Huawei Smart Selection product director Peng Lei announced that production of the Stelia G9 is scaling up, with delivery volumes expected to rise significantly throughout November. Stelia, a brand developed in partnership with BAIC New Energy, recorded 6,174 vehicle deliveries in October, with the G9 accounting for roughly 70% of those sales.
Concurrent with the G9 ramp-up, the company is preparing for the launch of the Stelia V8. The model is currently being deployed to retail locations for test drives and showroom displays. To facilitate quicker handovers, Huawei plans to maintain a limited inventory of the V8, allowing customers to take delivery as early as the day following the official launch event.
Expected to start at 329,800 yuan, the V8 will be offered in both pure electric and range-extender configurations. The vehicle includes an 800V high-voltage platform, rear-wheel steering, and Huawei’s proprietary Qiankun intelligent driving system.
