Huawei has launched its new flagship Mate 90 Pro Max phone in China, with prices starting at 10,999 yuan (approximately $1,500 USD). The device is powered by the company's new Kirin 9050 Pro processor and equipped with a substantial 6800mAh battery.
The Mate 90 Pro Max sports a 6.9-inch display and an advanced 3D ToF front-facing camera system. The phone's construction is designed for durability, offering resistance to dust, water, high temperatures, and high-pressure water jets.
Durability is further enhanced by Huawei's Gen 3 Kunlun Glass, which claims a 50% improvement in drop resistance compared to previous models. The Pro Max variant specifically utilizes optical Kunlun glass and Xuanwu Kunlun glass, providing enhanced scratch resistance and resilience.
The display technology has also seen upgrades with the new "Linglong Screen 2.0." This features a dual-layer OLED architecture for improved brightness and extended lifespan. Additionally, a custom "Zhuque" display chip enhances sustained high-brightness performance.
