Huawei Releases Modular Camera for Mate 90 Pro Max
Huawei has unveiled the "Ruiying Z10" modular camera alongside its Mate 90 Pro Max smartphone. This accessory expands the phone's zoom capabilities, offering 10x continuous optical zoom.
Chinese technology company Huawei has introduced a new modular camera, dubbed "Ruiying Z10," to accompany its Mate 90 Pro Max smartphone. The device is designed to enhance the phone's photographic features by providing 10x continuous optical zoom.
The Ruiying Z10 module is built to work in conjunction with the Mate 90 Pro Max. It utilizes a 1-inch 50-megapixel sensor and an optical system that covers a focal length range from 24mm to 240mm, with an aperture range of F2.0–F4.5. Huawei states the camera can leverage the smartphone's processing and storage capabilities.
Huawei claims the modular camera is suitable for various shooting scenarios, including wide-angle portraits, documentary photography, event capture, and close-ups. It supports 1x to 10x continuous zoom for video recording and allows users to switch between different classic camera styles and color profiles.
The introduction of the Ruiying Z10 follows Huawei's ongoing efforts to improve smartphone camera performance through specialized hardware. The company has consistently focused on integrating advanced camera technology into its mobile devices.
