The new arrangement will transfer primary responsibility for product development, marketing, sales, and after-sales services from Huawei-led operations to a Seres-led framework. Huawei will continue to provide support for these Seres-led activities.
The Hongmeng Zhixing division within Huawei will concentrate its resources on bolstering the success of the Zhijie, Xiangjie, Zunjie, and Shangjie automotive brands. This move reflects Huawei's evolving strategy in the competitive automotive sector, where it seeks to deepen its involvement beyond component supply.
