Huawei Reports Over 100,000鸿蒙 Native Apps, Ecosystem to Surpass 100 Million Users by Year-End
Huawei announced its鸿蒙 native app count has exceeded 100,000, with projections to reach over 100 million users by the end of the year.
Huawei has surpassed a significant milestone with its鸿蒙 ecosystem, exceeding 100,000鴻蒙 native applications, announced rotating chairman Xu Zhijun. Furthermore, the number of devices running the HarmonyOS operating system surpassed 80 million as of August 20.
The company projects that the鸿蒙 ecosystem will surpass the 100 million user mark in the fourth quarter of this year. This expansion signals a new phase of growth for HarmonyOS, which has already established itself as the world's third-largest mobile operating system.
Speaking at the Hongmeng Ecosystem Conference 2026, Xu also shared that over 400,000 applications are currently available for HarmonyOS phones. The conference, focused on technological advancements and industry applications within the鸿蒙 ecosystem, is taking place in Shenzhen from August 28-29.
According to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the cumulative number of devices within the open-source鸿蒙 ecosystem has exceeded 1.35 billion. The operating system has seen widespread adoption across various sectors, including automotive and home appliances, demonstrating its versatility.
