Huawei Showcases Six Global Energy Exhibits, Integrating AI for New Energy Systems
At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei showcased six global energy exhibits, highlighting the synergy of artificial intelligence and energy to unlock a new power system.
During HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai, Huawei presented six global energy exhibits, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with energy technologies. The event, themed "AI × Energy: Unlocking a New Power System," brought together over 600 representatives from global energy companies, industry organizations, and ecosystem partners.
The summit addressed the significant transformation underway in the global energy sector, emphasizing the role of distributed renewable energy and digitalization in enhancing grid resilience and universal electricity access. Huawei pointed out the need to improve the management of low-voltage systems, advocating for AI-driven solutions.
"The essence of low-voltage transparency is simple: faster data, higher quality, and greater cost-effectiveness," stated David Sun, Executive Vice President of Huawei's Digital Power BU. He stressed the importance of prioritizing digital capabilities and infrastructure to realize a new energy system.
Six global case studies were showcased, illustrating successful digital and intelligent transformations across the energy value chain in various scenarios. These included projects in Brazil and China. Huawei aims to continue leveraging its ICT strengths to foster innovation and industry development in collaboration with global energy companies and standards organizations.
