Huawei to Focus Resources on Four New Car Brands
Huawei is consolidating its resources towards four distinct automotive brands: Zunjie, Xiangjie, Zhijie, and Shangjie. This strategic shift aims to enhance product development and user experience across its vehicle lines.
Huawei is sharpening its focus on four key automotive brands โ Zunjie (ๅฐ็), Xiangjie (ไบซ็), Zhijie (ๆบ็), and Shangjie (ๅฐ็) โ by allocating more substantial resources to each. The company stated this strategic decision is intended to improve product refinement and user experience.
Richard Yu, Huawei's terminal business chief, indicated that this concentrated effort will allow teams to dedicate more energy to perfecting product details and enhancing user interaction. This move signifies Huawei's commitment to its smart vehicle segment.
The Zunjie line is set to introduce an ultra-luxury SUV in early 2025. Meanwhile, deliveries for the Xiangjie G9 have commenced, and a new Xiangjie V8 is planned to target family car buyers.
For the Zhijie brand, two significant new models, the RX and an upgraded R7, are slated for launch soon. Additionally, Huawei's collaboration with SAIC Motor on the Shangjie brand continues, with a new mid-size family SUV expected as part of their joint development.
