Huawei to launch AITO M8 flagship SUV in November

Huawei has disclosed the specifications and pricing for its upcoming AITO M8 flagship SUV, scheduled for official market release on November 13. The vehicle will enter the competitive Chinese market with a starting price of 389,800 yuan.
The new M8 lineup will be divided into three trim levels: Max, Max+ and Ultra. All models will integrate Huawei’s ADS 5 driving assistance system and feature an architecture designed for L3-level autonomous capabilities. The powertrain options include both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) configurations and pure battery-electric versions utilizing an 800V platform.
The premium Ultra variant features high-end upgrades, including rear-wheel steering, a 120kWh battery pack, and specialized infotainment displays. Consumers are also offered various customization options, ranging from zero-gravity seating configurations to electric door systems.
This launch marks a significant effort by Huawei to solidify its footprint in the luxury SUV segment. By leveraging its proprietary intelligent driving software, the company aims to differentiate the AITO brand from traditional premium auto manufacturers.
