Huawei unveils LUTERRA S2 residential energy system at global summit
Huawei introduced its LUTERRA S2 all-in-one energy system during its 7th Global Partner Summit in Dongguan, highlighting advancements in residential power efficiency.

Huawei convened over 1,000 partners from 54 countries at its 7th Global Partner Summit in Dongguan, China, held from October 21 to 23, 2026. The event served as a platform to discuss strategic directions for green energy ecosystems and to showcase new hardware solutions aimed at residential markets.
The centerpiece of the summit was the launch of LUTERRA S2, an all-in-one system utilizing full silicon carbide (SiC) technology. Huawei claims the system optimizes logistics through a unified stock-keeping unit and allows for installation in under ten minutes. The company cites a 43 percent increase in total energy yield over the system’s lifespan, aiming to assist installers in reducing technical complexity for end-users.
With a reported footprint of over 4.3 million global installations, Huawei continues to push for deeper integration of solar, energy storage, and smart home management systems. The LUTERRA S2 unit is scheduled for release in European markets this November, with an Asia-Pacific rollout planned for December 2026.
