Huawei unveils LUTERRA S2 residential energy system at installer summit
Huawei introduced its new Full-SiC all-in-one energy system during its 7th Global Installer Summit in China, aimed at streamlining residential solar and storage installations.

Huawei gathered over 1,000 partners and installers from 54 countries at its 7th Global Installer Summit held in Dongguan, China, from October 21 to 23. The event served as a platform for discussing industry trends and strategies for the residential renewable energy sector.
A significant portion of the summit was dedicated to the launch of the LUTERRA S2, described by the company as the industry’s first all-in-one energy system built entirely on silicon carbide (Full-SiC) technology. Huawei claims the system reduces installation time to under 10 minutes and provides a 10% increase in usable capacity, alongside a 43% boost in lifetime energy yield.
The manufacturer is focused on simplifying the work process for installers by minimizing technical complexity and optimizing logistics. Having supported over 4.3 million homeowners globally, the company intends to scale its impact through advanced energy management and grid-forming technology.
The LUTERRA S2 system is scheduled for release in Europe in November, with an Asia-Pacific launch planned for December.
