Huawei Unveils New UnifiedBus Computing Architecture

Shanghai – Huawei unveiled its new UnifiedBus interconnect architecture on Wednesday, designed to accelerate data transfer and improve performance in large-scale computing clusters and supercomputers. The announcement was made at the HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 event.
The company stated that UnifiedBus reduces latency and increases bandwidth, which is crucial for applications in artificial intelligence, big data processing, and high-performance computing. The architecture utilizes new switching technologies and protocols specifically developed to meet the increasing demands of modern data centers.
Yang Chaobin, Huawei's Executive Director of the Board and CEO of the ICT Business Group, explained that UnifiedBus can deliver up to 1,024 times higher speed compared to previous solutions and offers significantly improved scalability. This opens new possibilities for scientific research and industrial applications requiring massive computational power.
