Huawei unveiled the Pura X View smartphone on August 20, a device notable for its wider 16:9.5 display, a departure from the prevalent tall screen format. The phone sports a 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,232 by 1,320 pixels.
The Pura X View design echoes Huawei's Pura X foldable line but is presented as a conventional, non-folding device. It boasts a 96.1% screen-to-body ratio, framed by four bezels measuring 1.05 millimeters each. The handset is 6.68 millimeters thick and weighs 201 grams.
Powering the device is a substantial 7,000mAh battery. Huawei opened reservations for the Pura X View on August 20, with in-store experiences scheduled to commence on August 28. The launch occurred during a company event.
