Huawei unveils Qingyun HM650 desktop with HarmonyOS and Kirin X90 chip
Huawei has introduced the Qingyun HM650 desktop, featuring its proprietary Kirin X90 processor and the HarmonyOS operating system.

Huawei debuted its first desktop computer series powered by HarmonyOS, the Qingyun HM650, during an enterprise computing event on November 5. The workstations utilize the company’s internal Kirin X90 processor, marking a significant step in Huawei's effort to integrate its software and silicon hardware in the enterprise sector.
The manufacturer confirmed that the hardware components for the HM650 series are sourced entirely from domestic suppliers. This move underlines a broader industry trend among Chinese technology firms aiming to establish self-sufficient supply chains.
Alongside the product launch, Huawei reported that cumulative shipments of HarmonyOS-equipped computers have exceeded one million units. The company currently supports an ecosystem of over 21,000 compatible applications tailored for office productivity and professional design workflows.
