Huawei Updates European Network Solutions with Stellar Intelligent Network

Huawei has launched its updated Stellar Intelligent Network Solution for the European region, operating under the philosophy of "Secure and Intelligent Connectivity," at the Huawei Network Summit 2026 Europe in Florence.

The revamped solution encompasses Stellar Intelligent Fabric, Stellar Intelligent WAN, and Stellar Intelligent Campus Network. The initiative aims to enhance network performance, scalability, and security across various industries.

The Stellar Intelligent Fabric component utilizes Huawei's proprietary 100T switches to quadruple network scale while reducing the number of switches and optical modules by 30%. Network optimization algorithms promise improved link utilization and increased computing performance, along with faster fault diagnosis and enhanced data center network resilience.

Stellar Intelligent WAN introduces a lossless algorithm that significantly cuts fixed connection costs and boosts cloud computing efficiency. Security measures include real-time intrusion detection and integration of quantum security technologies like Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Huawei has introduced new eKit SME Network products featuring enhanced security and performance.

For campus networks, updates focus on reducing wireless interference and doubling performance. New solutions also aim to shorten mean time to repair (MTTR) to under five minutes and significantly improve threat detection. Huawei has also developed a three-tier energy-saving framework to meet Europe's green energy requirements.
