Huawei has officially released its Watch 6 series of smartwatches, powered by HarmonyOS and equipped with an AI assistant, with sales commencing on September 23. The watches are available in China, starting at 2799 yuan.
The Huawei Watch 6 is offered in 42mm and 46mm variants. The 42mm model starts at 2799 yuan, while the 46mm model begins at 2899 yuan. The Huawei Watch 6 Pro is available in 43mm and 46mm sizes, with prices starting at 3499 yuan and 3599 yuan, respectively.
Key features include the "Xiao Yi" AI assistant, designed to work with HarmonyOS phones, offering capabilities such as identifying and prioritizing important text messages. The series also introduces advanced health monitoring features. In collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the watches provide a 24-hour hypertension risk assessment. They also offer comprehensive health data analysis and personalized improvement recommendations.
Material choices for the watches include spherical sapphire glass and stainless steel for the 46mm Watch 6, and aerospace-grade aluminum for the 42mm version. The Watch 6 Pro models come in distinct colorways and utilize premium materials like titanium.
