Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch, the Watch D3, which features dynamic blood pressure monitoring and "mini health check" capabilities directly from the wrist.
The device allows users to measure their blood pressure before and after exercise, providing trend data throughout the day and night. It also offers measurement reminders for specific environmental changes like temperature or altitude shifts.
Beyond blood pressure tracking, the Watch D3 includes an electrocardiogram (ECG) function that can analyze heart rhythm in 30 seconds, potentially identifying risks for atrial fibrillation and premature beats. It also monitors for sleep apnea and collects continuous vital signs data to assist in assessing coronary heart disease and overall heart health.
Huawei highlights that the new model is lighter and slimmer than its predecessor. The smartwatch also supports over 100 sports modes, Bluetooth calling, and other standard smartwatch functions. The Huawei Watch D3 is priced starting at 2,539.8 Chinese yuan.
