Huawei has released its new Watch GT 7 Pro smartwatch, with sales commencing at a price of 2688 yuan (approximately $365 USD). The device is designed for active users, promising up to 21 days of battery life under light usage scenarios.
The smartwatch sports a 1.47-inch sapphire crystal display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The case is constructed from aerospace-grade titanium and nano-microcrystalline ceramic. It is available in three color options: Pine Frost Green, Wild Field Yellow, and Carbon Crystal Black.
Key features for sports enthusiasts include a new indoor skiing mode that accurately tracks skiing without GPS signal, a golf mode with slope compensation for distance measurement, and a cycling feature offering ascent planning and sharp turn alerts. The watch also incorporates enhanced health monitoring, including sleep quality assessment and heart rate variability (HRV) tracking.
Battery performance varies by usage: 12 days for regular use and up to 51 hours in outdoor running mode with GPS enabled. The initial price after government subsidies is 2285 yuan.
