Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 Receives HarmonyOS 7 Update
Huawei's Watch Ultimate 2 models are now receiving the HarmonyOS 7 update, which brings a refreshed interface, advanced health tracking, and new features.
Chinese technology firm Huawei has begun rolling out the HarmonyOS 7 operating system update to its Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatches. The update introduces significant enhancements to the user interface, health monitoring capabilities, and sports functionalities.
The new OS version focuses on improving user experience through more refined graphical elements and smoother interaction. Notably, the "Health Summary" application has been upgraded to "Health Insight," which assesses the body's readiness for the day.
A key addition to health features is a new research study for assessing the risk of high uric acid levels. Users can now initiate this assessment directly from their watch, enabling earlier detection of potential health concerns. The update also includes scientifically enhanced sleep tracking and an improved golf function.
Substantial improvements have also been made to the watch's overall interface design. Dynamic light and shadow effects are integrated into watch faces and multitasking lists, while visual themes emphasizing life's rhythm are featured on exercise and sleep pages. A new "Wanxiang" module watch face allows users to customize the look with various widgets, such as hydration reminders and weather elements. A new voice recorder application has also been added for added utility.
