Huawei's HarmonyOS operating system has surpassed 90 million installations, according to recent data. The total number of installations has reached 90,036,500 devices, as reported by a third-party tracking platform. This marks a substantial increase in the system's user base.
Previously, in August, the number of HarmonyOS installations stood at over 80 million. The system has added nearly 10 million new installations in approximately one month and 11 days, indicating a rapid adoption rate. This growth trajectory aligns with Huawei's previously stated objectives.
Huawei has previously projected reaching the 100 million installation milestone before the end of winter. Company executives have expressed confidence in the system's rapid expansion. As early as March, the number of devices equipped with HarmonyOS was reported to be over 47 million.
It is important to note that the installation figures are based on estimates from third-party sources, which use weighted calculations from Huawei's AppGallery download data. While these figures may differ slightly from official Huawei numbers, they reflect a consistent upward trend in HarmonyOS adoption.
