HunterLab Introduces Vista L2 Device with Expanded 710 nm Measurement Range
HunterLab has launched its new Vista L2 spectrophotometer, extending its color measurement capabilities to 710 nm and incorporating the new Essentials L2 software.
HunterLab, a global authority in color measurement, has introduced the Vista L2, a new generation transmission spectrophotometer designed for measuring color and turbidity in transparent and translucent liquids and solids.
The device's key enhancement is its expanded spectral range to 710 nm. This allows for a more accurate separation between true color, measured as absorbance, and turbidity, measured as light scatter. This capability aids quality control teams in sectors including beverages, edible oils, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and plastics.
The Vista L2 combines the latest Essentials L2 color analysis software with significantly increased processing power and storage capacity. The company states that the update offers expanded measurement possibilities without disrupting existing methods or requiring new accessories, facilitating easier adoption for quality control teams.
