Huntington Bank Expands International Corporate Banking Services
Huntington National Bank establishes a new international corporate banking group to support foreign companies growing their U.S. operations.
Columbus, Ohio – Huntington National Bank is expanding its corporate, specialty, and government banking division by creating a dedicated international corporate banking group. This new unit will offer strategic support to foreign multinational companies and their U.S. subsidiaries that are establishing or expanding their presence in the United States.
The group will provide specialized expertise in lending, international trade, foreign exchange, cross-border payments, and treasury solutions. The aim is to deliver tailored financial support for clients' cross-border growth and operations, focusing on U.S. subsidiaries of international parent companies.
Led by Suneel Gill, a veteran with over 20 years of experience in international banking who recently joined Huntington, the group will be supported by a new representative office the bank plans to open in London later this year.
The initiative aligns with an increase in foreign direct investment into the U.S. Huntington states that the group will help clients navigate international complexities and manage risks by combining global market insights with local expertise.
