The 30th edition of the Hurricane Festival concluded on its final day with the announcement of a fatality. A 41-year-old visitor died, reportedly due to pre-existing medical conditions. Despite the somber news, festival organizer Stephan Thanscheidt of FKP Scorpio stated that the event ran smoothly overall. Both attendees and staff contended with extremely high temperatures throughout the weekend. The festival was sold out, attracting 78,000 visitors. Thanscheidt described Hurricane Festival as one of Europe's premier festivals with a dedicated music-loving audience.
Advance ticket sales for the 2027 festival are set to begin on Tuesday, with the first two major headliners already confirmed, though their identities remain undisclosed. The final day's lineup featured artists such as Clueso and Empire Of The Sun, among others.
