Danish housebuilder HusCompagniet has successfully priced its initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq Copenhagen stock exchange. The final offer price was set at DKK 117 per share, corresponding to a market capitalization of DKK 2.34 billion for the company.

During its ownership by EQT VI, HusCompagniet has solidified its position as a leader in the Danish single-family detached house market. The company has refined its customer-centric approach, optimized its asset-light delivery model, and expanded its geographical reach into Sweden through an acquisition. Under EQT's tenure, revenue increased by 57 percent and adjusted EBITDA grew by 42 percent.

Headquartered in Horsens, Denmark, HusCompagniet is a key provider of detached houses and semi-detached houses for both private consumers and professional investors. Its business model is characterized by a customer-focused concept and a flexible, asset-light delivery system.

Since EQT's acquisition in 2015, HusCompagniet has grown its market share by opening new offices across Denmark and digitalizing its processes. The 2017 acquisition of Swedish company VårgårdaHus further expanded its manufacturing capabilities for prefabricated wood-frame houses.

EQT has also supported HusCompagniet in adopting sustainable construction techniques and reducing CO2 emissions. Between 2015 and 2019, revenues rose from DKK 2.23 billion to DKK 3.50 billion, and the employee base grew by 68 percent to approximately 440 individuals.
