Husqvarna Group reported a decrease in net sales for the first half of 2026, citing challenging market conditions primarily in Europe. The company's financial results were affected by a decline in sales, although North America continued to show positive growth.

In the second quarter of 2026, net sales fell by 4% organically and 6% in SEK to SEK 14,383 million. Operating income for the quarter was SEK 1,600 million, down from SEK 2,063 million a year prior. For the first six months of 2026, net sales decreased by 5% to SEK 28,344 million, with operating income at SEK 3,311 million.

The decrease in sales was largely attributed to weak demand in Europe, influenced by geopolitical uncertainty and low consumer confidence. While the Husqvarna Construction division achieved 5% organic growth, the Gardena division saw an 11% decrease in organic sales, and Husqvarna Forest & Garden declined by 3%.

In response to these headwinds, Husqvarna Group is accelerating its cost-saving initiatives, now targeting SEK 3 billion in savings by the end of 2028. The company is also working to optimize its manufacturing footprint and conducting strategic reviews within its divisions to enhance efficiency and operational performance.

Despite the external challenges, Husqvarna Group remains committed to its transformation strategy and expressed confidence in achieving profitable growth long-term, supported by its brand portfolio and focus on operational excellence.
