HyperTexting App Transforms Web into Social Media-Like Feed
A new mobile application named HyperTexting aims to make browsing and publishing web content as simple as using social media. The app is now available for iOS devices.

HyperTexting, a technology company, has released a new mobile application that seeks to merge the open web experience with social media. The app allows users to browse websites, blogs, newsletters, and podcasts in a format akin to a social media feed.
The app's developer, Caleb Hailey, a veteran with 20 years of experience in technology, aims to revive the early internet principle where individuals owned their own domain and publishing platform. Hailey expresses criticism towards the rise of social media, arguing it made content publishing easier on social networks compared to personal websites.
HyperTexting eschews algorithms for content presentation, opting instead for a more traditional, chronological feed. This approach contrasts with many current social media platforms that often personalize content based on user preferences.
The application also intends to simplify the process of updating personal websites. It enables users to post content to their own sites as effortlessly as sending a text message. HyperTexting is available on iOS and aims to offer an alternative to conventional web browsing and content creation.
