Hyundai Motor America recorded 73,452 total vehicle sales in October 2026, representing a 5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025. Retail sales reached a record 62,646 units, up 9 percent year-over-year.
The sales performance was driven by significant gains in the Santa Fe and Palisade model lines, both of which set October sales records. Hybrid powertrains continued to gain market share, accounting for 29 percent of the company’s total October volume, with year-over-year growth reaching 20 percent for the month and 50 percent on a year-to-date basis.
President and CEO Randy Parker attributed the performance to strong consumer demand across the SUV and electrified segments. To support long-term production objectives, the company is investing approximately $450 million into its Montgomery, Alabama manufacturing facility to enhance engine production and implement new propulsion technology.
