i-80 Gold Reports Q3 2026 Results as Archimedes Mine Nears Production
I-80 Gold Corp. recorded $32.7 million in revenue for the third quarter of 2026. The company remains on schedule to initiate production at its Archimedes underground mine by the end of the year.
I-80 Gold Corp. posted its third-quarter financial results for 2026, reporting revenue of $32.7 million against a net loss of $48.4 million. The loss reflects increased pre-development and exploration expenditures as the company ramps up activities across its Nevada-based projects.
CEO Richard Young stated that the company remains on track with its development schedule. Construction at the Archimedes underground mine is nearing completion, with production slated to commence by year-end. Simultaneously, the company released a feasibility study for the Granite Creek project, which defined initial mineral reserves and increased measured and indicated underground resources.
The company is executing a long-term strategy to expand its annual gold production. By leveraging its infrastructure, i-80 Gold aims to reach a production capacity of 150,000 to 200,000 ounces by 2028, with further expansion toward 500,000 ounces targeted for the early 2030s via the Mineral Point open pit.
