IAdea Deutschland launches XMP-7300 kiosk processor with 4K support
IAdea Deutschland has launched its new XMP-7300 kiosk processor, featuring 4K media playback and a rugged design for demanding commercial environments.
IAdea Deutschland has introduced the XMP-7300 kiosk processor, designed for high-performance 4K media playback in commercial settings. The device aims to enhance user experiences in applications like self-service kiosks and interactive wayfinding systems.
The XMP-7300 runs on Android 7.1, allowing for secure and manageable operation of kiosks. Its commercial-grade metal housing is built for durability and rapid cooling, supporting continuous operation between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The processor also offers expansion capabilities for integrating sensors and modules to enable interactive features.
Technically, the device supports H.265/HEVC video up to 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and H.264/AVC up to 1080p. It can simultaneously manage multiple H.264/H.265 content streams via its HDMI 2.0 port. IAdea also highlights the unit's energy efficiency, stating it generates six times less CO2 emissions compared to a PC solution.
The hardware includes connectivity options such as Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and two USB 2.0 ports, along with support for expandable storage via a Micro SD card. The IAdea XMP-7300 is targeted at retailers and digital signage providers looking to deploy customized and remotely manageable kiosk solutions.
