ICOHS College Expands AI Training for Business and Healthcare Sectors

ICOHS College has expanded its artificial intelligence training with three new certificate programs designed to integrate AI skills into business operations, technology roles, and healthcare administration. The San Diego-based nonprofit institution has bolstered its AI business offerings and for the first time extended AI training into the healthcare sector.

The three certificates – AI Business Management, AI Business Technology, and AI Medical Billing and Coding – are all available nationwide online or in a hybrid format on campus. According to the college, all three programs are already among its fastest-growing offerings.

"AI now shows up as a required or preferred skill in job postings across nearly every field we train for, from business operations to healthcare administration," said Kieu L. Vo, Executive Director at ICOHS College. She stated that the programs were developed in response to market changes, meeting employer demand for AI fluency alongside core professional skills.

Each certificate targets a specific area of employer demand. AI Business Management prepares professionals to lead AI-driven initiatives and make data-informed decisions without requiring prior coding experience. AI Business Technology trains workers to utilize AI tools for daily business operations. AI Medical Billing and Coding addresses the shift in healthcare toward AI-assisted coding platforms, requiring coders who can work alongside these systems.

All three programs do not require prior AI or technical experience. Financial aid is available for eligible students.
