ICP DAS-BMP to Present Medical TPU Developments at COMPAMED 2026

Taiwan-based ICP DAS-BMP is scheduled to exhibit its latest thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) portfolio at COMPAMED 2026, taking place from November 16–19 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company’s presence will focus on technical materials designed for the medical device sector.

Key product displays include the Low-Migration and Low-Friction TPU series. The Arothane ARP-B20 is designed to comply with ISO 10993 standards for implants lasting up to 90 days by minimizing additive migration. Additionally, the company will showcase its Low-Friction series, which provides inherently smooth surface properties for invasive catheters without the need for additional coatings or post-processing, excluding PFAS and plasticizers from the formulation.

At the event, ICP DAS-BMP will also participate in the newly formed Taiwan TPU Alliance. This partnership connects manufacturers across the medical device supply chain, including experts in extrusion machinery, injection molding, and auxiliary equipment, to streamline integrated production workflows for medical-grade components.
