ICP DAS-BMP to Showcase Medical-Grade TPU Innovations at COMPAMED 2026
Taiwan-based medical polymer manufacturer ICP DAS-BMP will debut its latest TPU material series for invasive medical devices at the upcoming COMPAMED 2026 trade fair in Germany.
ICP DAS-BMP, a manufacturer of medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), is set to exhibit at the COMPAMED 2026 trade fair, taking place from November 16–19 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company plans to present its expanded product catalog, featuring new materials specifically engineered for the medical device sector.
Key among the presentations are the Low Migration and Low Friction TPU series. The Low Migration range is designed to minimize additive leaching, meeting ISO 10993 standards for implants lasting up to 90 days. The Low Friction series targets catheter applications, offering an inherently smooth surface that removes the need for traditional coatings or post-processing, while maintaining a PFAS-free composition.
During the event, ICP DAS-BMP will also participate in the inaugural Taiwan TPU Alliance. This collaboration unites stakeholders across the medical device manufacturing chain—ranging from extrusion machinery and injection molding providers to auxiliary equipment suppliers—to streamline the production of medical components.
Operating under ISO 13485 certification, the company leverages industrial automation expertise from its parent organization, ICP DAS. By participating in COMPAMED, ICP DAS-BMP aims to reinforce its position in the global medical supply chain by providing scalable material solutions for both large-scale production and smaller, specialized orders.
