ICP DAS-BMP to showcase medical TPU materials at COMPAMED 2026
Taiwan-based manufacturer ICP DAS-BMP will debut its latest thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) product lines at the COMPAMED exhibition in Düsseldorf from November 16–19.
ICP DAS-BMP, a producer of medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), is set to exhibit at the COMPAMED 2026 trade fair in Düsseldorf. The company plans to highlight its new low-migration and low-friction TPU series, which are designed to address specific technical challenges in medical device manufacturing.
The featured products include the Arothane™ ARP-B20 series, designed for implantation periods of up to 90 days in compliance with ISO 10993 standards. Additionally, the company is introducing a low-friction series that aims to simplify the production of invasive catheters by providing a smooth surface that requires no secondary coatings.
During the event, ICP DAS-BMP will also promote the newly formed Taiwan TPU Alliance. This industry partnership includes suppliers specializing in extrusion, injection molding, and auxiliary equipment. By aligning these partners, the alliance aims to streamline the value chain for TPU-based medical device manufacturing.
Headquartered in Taiwan, ICP DAS-BMP holds ISO 13485 certification and utilizes automated production technology derived from its parent company, ICP DAS. The firm emphasizes flexible manufacturing solutions to accommodate small-batch requirements for medical equipment developers.
