ICP DAS-BMP to Showcase Medical TPU Materials at COMPAMED 2026
Taiwan-based manufacturer ICP DAS-BMP will debut new medical-grade TPU materials and join the Taiwan TPU Alliance at the upcoming COMPAMED 2026 trade fair in Germany.

ICP DAS-BMP, a producer of medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), will exhibit its latest material innovations at COMPAMED 2026, scheduled for November 16–19 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company plans to focus on materials designed for complex invasive and implantable medical devices.
Key product demonstrations include the low-migration Arothane™ ARP-B20, which complies with ISO 10993 standards for 90-day implants, and a new low-friction TPU range. The latter is engineered without PFAS or plasticizers to improve performance in catheters and guide wires, addressing industry demand for safer, higher-performance medical components.
The company will also participate in the launch of the Taiwan TPU Alliance. This collaboration, initiated by TPU tubing manufacturer Towards Buddha Co., Ltd., links various parts of the medical manufacturing supply chain, including extrusion machinery, injection molding, and auxiliary equipment providers.
ICP DAS-BMP maintains ISO 13485 certification and leverages industrial automation expertise from its parent company, ICP DAS, to support its production cycles. The company continues to target niche medical segments, including precision orthodontic components and radiopaque materials utilizing barium sulfate and tungsten.
