Identiv, Inc. has finalized the sale of its Internet of Things (IoT) assets and rebranded as INVE Technologies, Inc. The company announced Wednesday that its future strategy will center on building a physical Artificial Intelligence Software as a Service (AI SaaS) business.
The divestiture marks a significant strategic pivot for the company, aiming to streamline operations and concentrate on high-growth technology sectors. INVE Technologies will also pursue a strategic partnership with Trackonomy to support its go-forward plan.
In conjunction with these changes, Identiv announced the appointment of James Greenwell as interim CEO, effective September 7, 2026. The name change to INVE Technologies signifies the company's new direction and focus.
