IDnow Certified to Issue Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes
IDnow has received certification to issue Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes (QEAA). This expands the company's identity verification services to help organizations meet EU compliance needs.

IDnow, a provider of identity verification and trust services, announced it has received certification to issue Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes (QEAA).
This new capability allows organizations to use verified credentials in a legally compliant manner, addressing a gap where national eID systems and the planned EUDI Wallet have not yet provided consistent solutions. QEAA certificates are designed to enable the reliable verification of digital attributes.
"This certification marks a significant milestone, further solidifying our role as a key player in the European digital identity ecosystem," said CEO Johannes Sterzer. "With QEAA, we are empowering organizations to leverage verified attributes for a wide range of applications, from secure access to reliable digital onboarding."
The development comes as the European Union advances its digital identity framework, including the eIDAS 2.0 regulation and the EUDI Wallet initiative. IDnow's ability to issue QEAAs positions the company to support businesses in navigating these evolving regulatory landscapes.
