IFCJ's 'Flags of Fellowship' Campaign More Than Doubles Participation, Expands Internationally

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (The Fellowship) announced that participation in its third annual Flags of Fellowship (FOF) campaign has more than doubled. This year, over 4,375 churches, synagogues, and organizations across 13 countries will plant a total of more than 5.2 million flags throughout October.

The campaign has significantly expanded beyond the U.S. and Canada, with over 1,775 international churches and organizations participating from countries including Australia, England, Kenya, South Africa, India, and the UAE. A new hub model, where leading churches act as regional distribution centers, has driven international growth. Hubs in Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala alone represent approximately 1,050 participating churches.

Initially launched in 2024 with 220 participating organizations, the FOF initiative grew to over 1,300 participants last year. The campaign runs from October 2-11 and throughout the month. Participating organizations display fields of miniature Israeli flags and hold events to demonstrate support for Israel and the Jewish people in response to rising global antisemitism.

"When a church plants an Israeli flag, it is not making a political statement, it is making a spiritual one—a declaration of friendship, remembrance, and faithfulness to those who are hurting," said Yael Eckstein, President and Global CEO of The Fellowship. The organization has also committed $432 million in aid to Israel since the October 7 attacks, covering emergency relief, first responder equipment, and other humanitarian programs.
