IFS Acquires WorkWave to Expand Field Service Management Solutions
EQT VII portfolio company IFS announced it has signed an agreement to acquire WorkWave, a provider of cloud-based SaaS solutions for field service and logistics. The deal strengthens IFS' global leadership in field service management.
IFS, a portfolio company of EQT VII, has signed an agreement to acquire WorkWave, a provider of scalable, cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the field service, last-mile delivery, and logistics industries.
Based in New Jersey, USA, WorkWave's software integrates back-office, field operations, and front-end marketing solutions. It enables businesses to streamline tasks such as scheduling, planning, billing, productivity, and automated marketing and sales activities.
When EQT VII acquired IFS in 2015, the strategy was to accelerate growth through selective investments in IFS' focus verticals. The acquisition of WorkWave increases IFS' global leadership within Field Service Management and further expands its North American footprint, making the Americas IFS' largest geographical region.
