IFS Launches AI Solution for Industrial Challenges
IFS Intelligence consolidates industrial companies' data, turning it into actionable insights to enhance operations and create new revenue streams. The solution operates in plain language, allowing users to ask questions and issue commands.
Orlando, Florida โ October 13, 2026 โ IFS, a provider of industrial software, has launched IFS Intelligence, a new solution designed to address complex industrial challenges. The product aggregates data from various sources, including assets, systems, and processes, and rapidly transforms it into meaningful action.
IFS Intelligence aims to overcome obstacles that have previously led to lost capacity in industrial operations, such as unplanned downtime and missed first-time fixes. It enables companies to leverage existing knowledge more effectively. The solution integrates seamlessly with both IFS and third-party systems, operating within the rules set by the business.
The new tool brings artificial intelligence directly to the point of work. Field technicians, plant floor personnel, and office staff can ask questions in plain language through a single conversational interface. IFS Intelligence analyzes live operational data to explain what is happening and plan what should happen next, showing its sources. It can then act on that plan, governed by IFS's Industrial AI Harness.
Curtis Taylor, Chief Business Operations Officer at Sims Crane & Equipment, described how the solution revolutionizes access to operational data. "All the data in our systems can be surfaced to our people. They can ask questions about our fleet, which cranes would be best to meet a particular customer requirement, for example, maximizing our fleet efficiency," Taylor stated.
IFS Intelligence offers three primary ways to utilize AI: Cowork, which allows users to ask questions and approve actions; Loops, which delegates defined workflows to digital workers; and Runway, which speeds up the configuration and extension of IFS systems using plain-language requirements. The solution is now available with an enterprise-wide license.
