IGEL Appoints U.S. Zero Trust Leader Randy Resnick to Drive Strategy
IGEL has appointed Randy Resnick, a recognized Zero Trust leader from the U.S. Department of Defense and NSA, as its new field CTO for government and critical infrastructure. The move aims to advance the company's security platform.

IGEL, a global software company, announced the appointment of Randy Resnick as its new field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for government and critical infrastructure sectors. Resnick is an established leader and architect in the Zero Trust model.
Resnick brings nearly four decades of experience in technical leadership and cybersecurity from his work with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Security Agency (NSA). Most recently, he served as a senior advisor and director for the DoD's Zero Trust Portfolio Management office, where he led efforts to operationalize Zero Trust in a large-scale technological environment.
He was instrumental in developing the DoD's original Zero Trust strategy and its reference architectures. Resnick's career also includes over 34 years in senior technical leadership roles at the NSA, focusing on cybersecurity innovation and information assurance.
"Randy is internationally recognized for his Zero Trust leadership," said Klaus Oestermann, CEO of IGEL. "His ability to translate transformational cybersecurity concepts from strategy and architecture to program development and operational implementation is ideal for the next phase of market adoption for the IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform."
In his new role, Resnick will focus on developing IGEL's platform to meet the needs of enterprise edge environments. He is expected to translate national security frameworks into combat-proven architectures for commercial and government critical infrastructure sectors globally.
