Software company IGEL has appointed Randy Resnick, a recognized leader in Zero Trust strategy, as its chief technology officer for government and critical industries. Resnick will drive the company's Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform (IASEP) strategy, focusing on cybersecurity for government and critical infrastructure sectors worldwide.

Resnick brings nearly four decades of experience in technology, cybersecurity, and software leadership. His background includes significant roles within the U.S. Department of Defense, where he spearheaded the Zero Trust implementation and developed its reference architectures and maturity models. Prior to that, he spent over 34 years at the National Security Agency (NSA) in senior technical leadership positions, including strategic direction for Zero Trust and cybersecurity innovation.

"Randy has been internationally recognized for his leadership in Zero Trust," said IGEL CEO Klaus Oestermann. "His ability to translate transformational cybersecurity concepts from strategy and architecture into software development and operational deployment is exceptional." Oestermann stated that Resnick's expertise aligns perfectly with the next phase of IGEL's platform.

Resnick's move from the public sector to a commercial company strengthens IGEL's market position. The company aims to expand its IASEP platform's capabilities at the enterprise edge, where IT, OT, cloud, and AI converge. Resnick's mission will involve adapting national security-level frameworks into practical architectures for critical commercial infrastructure across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, transportation, and energy.

The IASEP platform is designed to integrate trust, resilience, and management across diverse workloads. Under Resnick's leadership, IGEL plans to expand its solutions internationally into NATO and Five Eyes countries, as well as markets in Japan, Singapore, and the Middle East.
