iHuman Inc. Reports Second Quarter 2026 Financial Results
iHuman Inc. announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The company reported a decrease in revenue compared to the previous year and posted an operating and net loss.
BEIJING, Sept. 29, 2026 -- iHuman Inc. (NYSE: IH) today announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. Revenue for the quarter was RMB 173.4 million (US$25.6 million), a decrease from RMB 210.9 million in the same period last year.
Gross profit declined to RMB 111.2 million (US$16.4 million) from RMB 140.6 million in the second quarter of 2025. The company reported an operating loss of RMB 20.8 million (US$3.1 million), compared to an operating income of RMB 18.3 million in the prior year's quarter. Net loss for the period was RMB 17.5 million (US$2.6 million), a shift from a net income of RMB 30.7 million in the second quarter of 2025.
Average total monthly active users (MAUs) also saw a decline, standing at 20.72 million for the quarter, down from 23.97 million in the comparable period of 2025. CEO Peng Dai stated that despite a persistently challenging operating environment, the company has maintained its strategic focus to drive long-term growth.
The company has been working to strengthen its English learning ecosystem with its Liamiao IP and expanding its global reach through Aha World, recently integrating content from DreamWorks Animation's Gabby's Dollhouse. iHuman plans to continue focusing on enhancing its product offerings and expanding its global market presence.
