ILC Dover Launches DoverDoQ™ for Potent Powder Transfer in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
ILC Dover, an Ingersoll Rand business, has introduced DoverDoQ™, a semi-automatic connection system designed to enhance the safety and containment of powder transfers in pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing.

ROSSENS, Switzerland – ILC Dover, an Ingersoll Rand business and a provider of containment and material handling solutions, has launched DoverDoQ™. This semi-automatic connection system is engineered for safe, reliable, and highly contained powder transfers within pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing applications.
Developed at ILC Dover's Engineering Center of Excellence in Switzerland, the DoverDoQ™ system aims to ensure a high level of containment and reliability during powder transfer operations. It is designed for broad compatibility and integrates with ILC Dover's existing containment and powder handling solutions, including the DoverPac® and D100 systems, enabling a more comprehensive end-to-end material transfer workflow.
As manufacturers increasingly handle potent compounds under stringent containment requirements, protecting operators while maintaining product integrity remains a critical challenge. DoverDoQ™ addresses these needs with a secure liner-to-process connection that helps maintain containment throughout connection, transfer, and disconnection. This reduces the risk of operator exposure and process contamination.
Ciro Ahumada, Vice President & General Manager, Biopharma & Pharma Solutions at Ingersoll Rand, highlighted the system's role in the company's product portfolio. "DoverDoQ™ represents the next evolution of ILC Dover's containment and powder handling portfolio," Ahumada stated. "Customers are looking for integrated solutions that connect each stage of material handling, from storage and transfer through processing, while maintaining containment and operational efficiency."
